-Initiate and carry out a variety of administrative duties in support of patient care.
-Receive visitors, patients and family members to ward.
-Assign Patient to beds and update BMS Board.
-Receive phone calls and redirect to appropriate staff member or patient
-Preregister incoming patients.
-Provide excellent customer service and adhere to policies and procedures.
-Adhere to annual VHA training requirements.
-Dust mop and wet mop floors, in-depth cleaning of floor surfaces, hallways and stairwells; strip, scrub/refinish and buff hard floor surfaces; vacuum, spot clean, shampoo and clean carpeted floor surfaces.
-Clean, disinfect and deodorize patient and public restrooms to include urinals, toilets, stalls, sinks, tubs, shower stalls, mirrors, all restroom furniture and fixtures, spot clean walls, and perform floor care as required.
-Replenish Supplies: paper, soap, and hand sanitizer products dispensers. Move and arrange furniture, beds, etc., in the assigned areas to accomplish cleaning tasks.
-Infection Control/Safety: Incumbent prepares disinfectants in correct dilutions per procedure and selects correct cleaning materials for the job.
-Follows instructions regarding aseptic technique required in hospital environment; observes all safety regulations.
-Inspect, test, adjust, and certify new complex, state-of-the-art electronic assemblies, subassemblies, parts and systems for compliance with specifications following blueprints, schematic drawings, logic diagrams, and service manuals.
-Perform post installation checkout test and verify the installation of the specialized equipment.
-Maintained and troubleshot sophisticated systems to correct unresolved and controversial system failures.
-Analyze and diagnose faults in the operational configuration of electronic systems and equipment.
-Interpret circuit wiring, logic cable diagrams, drawings, specifications, and schematics of complete systems and equipment to understand the function and interconnections of the various assemblies and troubleshoot the system.
-Maintain accurate records of test data and test time.
-Complete and recorded preventative maintenance measures.
