• Released tax SPIs  to scale the supported number of tax integrations from 2 to 7
• Built industry first VAT ID validation SPIs to support vat validation in ~40 countries by leveraging third party integrations
• Worked closely with Sales and GTM teams to win multiple strategic deals, including top 10 accounts
• Launched e-invoicing for Chargebee merchants by adding support for 4 E invoicing networks in 23 countries
• Released multiple tax compliance features such as reverse charges, FTZs, transitional rates, etc. This helped position Chargebee as a leader in global compliance coverage and played a huge role in retention and new customer acquisitions, leading to a multi-million ARR impact.
• Won the company wide hackathon for the idea 'Invoice Customizations Powered by AI'  by competing against 45 teams .

Led the Platform Partnership Products, Reseller Program & Developer Experience

• Led the development and execution of strategic partnerships with industry-leading platforms such as Shopify, Zoho, Tally, and Wix, resulting in increased market reach and revenue growth.
• Designed and implemented an API suite that empowered partners to offer a white-label solution for seamless merchant onboarding, enhancing the overall user experience.
• Introduced an OAuth-based custom onboarding form, simplifying the merchant onboarding process through partners and reducing time-to-market by 30%.
• Achieved a 4x increase in merchant acquisitions and a 10x growth in GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) through effective platform partnership products and reseller programs.
• Established and led the developer experience function, defining a strategic vision and roadmap to enhance the experience for external developers working with our APIs.
• Revamped the documentation platform, launched an API playground, payment simulators, and helper libraries, providing developers with comprehensive resources and tools to integrate with our platform.

Responsible for the following modules at Housing.com

• Housing Mobile App :  Responsible for improving the conversion rate and the overall user experience of the buyer app. Increased user conversion rate by 62%. Reimagined the consumer app with emphasis  on UI/UX  backed by extensive user research and experimentation
  
• User Profiling & Personalization : Introduced Rental Profiles for Profiling of users. 52% of all users have rental profiles
• Consumer Re-engagement : Established cross channel re-engagement system to increase retention of various user segments. Reengaged ~41% of all converted users on housing.com.
• Search Relevance : Undertook various initiatives to improve the lead delivery and the conversion rates

Responsible for products in Supply Chain, Logistics, Pricing and Cataloguing. Product owner of ERPs and their API integration, Warehouse Management system and order management system.

Key Achievements

• Marketplace Launch: Conceptualized the pivot from buy and sell model to a managed marketplace model.
• Catalog Management System :Undertook the revamp of the system to improve the process efficiency, data quality and management of 1.5 million SKUs.
• Seller Panel : Implemented the seller portal to manage seller on boarding, orders, inventory, prices, catalogs and payments. Led integration of various 3rd party tools for process improvements
• Conceptualized and launched the  Coupon management system aimed at GMV growth. Powers the entire discounting schemes.
• Pricing & Payments: Introduced tax inclusive pricing which improved payment funnel by 22%. Implemented bulk purchase discounts scheme to increase the average order value. Led integration of various payment gateways and wallets. Implemented advanced pricing and taxation module to determine the selling  price of products.
• Order Management System & SCM : Developed a procurement planning tool to make the procurement process more effective and issue resolution in a real time manner, an order allocation logic to automatically select the vendors for order fulfillment. Introduced a batch management process to optimize the internal warehouse processes.
• Courier Engine : Implemented self serve portal for courier partners for managing pickups which led to reduction the shipment TAT by 1 day.  Implemented advanced serviceability check to reduce order cancellations and automatic the LSP selection for order fulfillment. Smart courier selection led to a monthly saving of INR 1.2 million in the courier charges. Courier tracking integrations to improve customer experience and reduce RTOs and RTVs.
• Taxation : Project owner for  GST implementation. Carefully planned and successfully executed the transition of all the software products at IB from VAT regime to GST.
  

Co-founded an IT service company during college days. Lead end to end development of various web and mobile applications. Responsibilities included defining product pipelines, preparing PRDs, collaborating with various stakeholders, Algorithms design, testing feedback. Hedcet was incubated at StartUp Village, Kochi. It later got acqui-hired by Clairvolex IP Solutions and have since developed many IP products assisting various stages of patent prosecution and litigation. Increased client process efficiency by 17% by process automation, which produced annual bottom line savings for clients in the tune of INR 58 million. Major projects at Hedcet -

• Patent Term Adjustment (web application) - Aimed at saving time and increase businesses for law counsels and IP service providers. This tool calculates the PTA value based on a comprehensive rule engine, thereby automating the processes of calculating the PTA and saving ample amount of time.
• Patent Family Tree Generator (Web Application) A easy-to-use tool that displays patent family visually and provides related data to carry out comprehensive patent analysis

A 6 week intensive startup accelerator program conducted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and sponsored by Google. Won Runner-up for the Demo day 2013 for the project Metromeet.
