Description:
The Implementation of strategy leveraging SAP BPM for improving speed to Market for New product development, provide Global data visibility, accountability. The application built on SAP NetWeaver BPM integrates SAP-PLM and SAP-MDM systems using SAP-PI and facilitates the creation and launch and creation of new products across regions covering Scope, Roles/Phases for a specific Country or Region in consideration, Material Requirement planning, Procurement, Sales and Distribution, Finance and controlling tasks for the respective users fetching data across the systems and syndicating the data to external systems when required for a leading FMCG client in the world.
Project Highlights:
One of the world’s largest SAP BPM implementation.
- Number of new products created per year -14,400
- Total number of BPM users – 800
- Process spanning 100+ steps with more than 5000 rules
- No of countries benefited: Initial roll out for 10 countries and 72 more countries in phased manner.
- Improved new product development SLA 10 weeks to 2 weeks.
- Closed loop feedback mechanism to ensure successful delivery of data.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understanding the business process and the scope of the application and designed and developed Business Processes for various business requirements with SAP BPM.
- Involved in designing the DB schema
- Developed JCo Layer for Data validation against ECC.
- CE Data syndication to MDM and ECC via PI.
- Developed an intuitive and user-friendly user interface with Web Dynpro Java and Integration with Back End Services.
- Use API Management to provide a higher level overview of the project status for monitoring ie Process Monitoring Cockpit(PMC)
- Design and develop the integration layer with SAP BPM and EJB Web Services.
- Responsible for preparing and implementing Technical and Functional documents.
- Estimation of build work.
- Prepared project plan for Go – Live and Cut-over activities.
- Content administration and System administration for EP 7.31 systems.
- Assisting end users in usage of developed application.
- Working in NWDI environment.
- Have worked on POC’s for future projects.
- Attend meetings with the Client IT Managers to understand the new project requirements.
- Be responsible for adherence to quality processes as agreed by client and Incture.
- Help facilitate coordination of work performed in different locations such as design hand-over. This may involve off-hour conference calls.
