  • Visual Arts Teacher: Designed and implemented innovative Ceramics and Sculpture curriculum to establish the new comprehensive 3D program at PiM arts High School. Worked collaboratively with Media Arts major teachers to create Visual/Media Hybrid Major. Courses taught include Ceramics 1+2, Sculpture 1, Painting 1+2, Advanced Placement 3D Design.
  • Instructional Design: Designed both Virtual and Virtual Hybrid curriculum for visual arts, including interactive gallery experiences, tiered demonstration with virtual and video immersive experiences, virtual community building and scaffolded  critique access points. 
  • PLC Leader: Visual and Performing Arts: Worked with Administration to ensure student-centered curricular choices, with an anti-racism lens. Led Visual and Media Arts Professional Learning Community with new initiatives, community partnerships, acted as a liaison  between administration and team. Facilitated weekly full group meetings and individual coaching when needed.

Facilitated small group discussions surrounding identification of problematic structures that exist in our school, breaking down the structures and rebuilding in a way that is transformative and innovative in design.

  • Visual Arts Teacher:  Taught semester long courses including Art 1, Art 2, Intro to 3D Design/Ceramics, CTE Graphic Design. Created a 1 week curriculum for Experiential Education week including 5 full days of 3D/Sculpture/installation units. Introduced a 3 Dimensional Design course into the curriculum outlining 3D concepts and principles. Participated in professional learning opportunities including both local and national Art Education Association conferences. Led a 1 week Experiential Education course with 30 students rafting through Cataract Canyon in Utah; included camping, outdoor cooking, basic mountaineering, hiking and rafting. 
  • Social Emotional Learning Steering Committee Member: Collaborated with a team to integrate Emory University's Social Emotional and Ethical learning curriculum into our school through a year long advisory with teacher's experiential education groups. Facilitated staff training and acquisition of strategies for mindful teaching of curriculum. Implemented curriculum with high school students in small group setting focusing on resiliency, compassion and self-care.

  • Digital Media Teacher: Created and implemented innovative Career and Technical Education curriculum to establish the new Digital Media program at South High School. Subjects taught include CTE Graphic Design, CTE 3D Animation and Advanced CTE Portfolio.

Advised students on creative marketing strategies to strengthen community appeal, maximize income and control costs.
