My journey in design started when I graduated from MATC in '99 with a degree in Visual Communications and Computer Graphics. • Created unique graphic design services and products from concept to completion from business cards and brochures to large signs and banners.
• Reviewed and set-up art files for in-house production. Operated digital printers using the Fiery Command Workstation. Communicated with vendors for outsourced production.
• For company web site, CyFairPrinting.com, modified pages using WordPress and managed the customer web portals using the MyOrderDesk plugin from PrintReach.
• To build brand awareness, created marketing materials for meetings and networking events. Designed custom postcards to be mailed and signs to be displayed in the shop. Utilized Constant Contact to send e-mail newsletters and advertisements.
• Contributed to customer service requests. Provided information about the products and services offered, sent proofs and entered invoices using PrintSmith.

• Worked with a team of designers in the Creative Services Department for an educational teaching aid manufacturing company. Developed and marketed fun, colorful products that help children learn and inspire teachers.
• Served as the Catalog Lead Designer for the 2006 & 2007 PreK-K catalogs that entailed project management, page design and photography production. Designed a variety of marketing products, such as brochures and advertisements.
• Created teacher resource guides, activity cards and packaging for the Product Development department and trade show signs for the Sales Department.
• Designed book pages and made corrections to copy-edited manuscripts for a full-service book publishing company.
• Book projects I was involved in included: Diamonds for Profit, The New Secrets of Charisma, Physics of the Body, Can This Child Be Saved? Solutions for Adoptive and Foster Families, and a series of career books for NTC/Contemporary Publishing Group.
• Photographed event, school, professional and passport portrait photography.
• Performed digital photo retouching using Adobe Photoshop.
• Assembled custom frames and photo albums.
Sold art supplies in the Historic Third Ward, an art district in Downtown Milwaukee.
