Service Manager for large ICT Projects
Having extensive experience delivering and managing IT Projects predominantly focused on the Banking and Insurance sector, my IT DNA consists of both technical and business experience in conjunction with very strong organisational skills.
My career started early in the 90’s and I 've had the opportunity to work with many teams developing S/W for commercial purposes while I managed to evolve as a Senior Solution Manager with many years of experience employed by the largest Systems Integrator in Greece. Over the most recent years, I have been mainly exposed to technologies such as CMA-Content Management & Archiving, BPM-Business Process Management, BRMS-Business Rules Management Systems, Electronic Invoicing, Cloud Offerings Sizing & Modelling Systems, Mobile Applications and more.
Currently, I am focused on interactive technologies with a strong interest in Big Data Analytics and the IoT (Internet of Things) arena as I believe this to be the next big thing.

Service Manager for large ICT Projects
Responsible for a set of solutions mainly servicing the financial sector. My initial task was to deliver a number of mission critical projects (optimising and accelerating business processes for banks and insurance companies) contributing the implementation teams, either as a part of the analysis group or as a PM. As per my "on-the-field" experience with specific platforms of the world's most known software vendors (i.e. EMC Documentum - Enterprise Content Management, IBM WebSphere ILOG - Business Rules Management, etc.), I was engaged in the sales promotion and pre-sales support of these vendor's products as a Solution Manager.
Areas of Responsibility:
Over the last year in Unisystems, I was assigned to the analysis, design and implementation of a corporate mission task to deliver a software tool for internal use (Cloud Asset Management & Solution Offering Calculator), in order to enhance cloud sales across all Unisystem' s available solutions.
Responsibilities Summary:
During the years I 've worked for Unisystems S.A. I have promoted the solutions I was responsible for, to a total of 300+ enterprises.
Delivered / participated in a number of projects related with the Financial Market (i.e. Contract & Claims Management - METLIFE ALICO A.I.G., ING. / Requirements gathering process, RFD write-up, UI Design & Testing for EFG Eurobank's E.D.D.I.E Loan Origination System).
Datablue is IBM's one out of two added-value distributors for Greece. Entitled to sell IBM's software the company is focused on specific software brands. It maintains in-depth knowledge and expertise to successfully consult or deliver projects integrating such technologies & services.
Engaged in the promotion of middleware products within the following IBM brands:
Main Responsibilities: Pre-sales / Sales, Campaign, Sales Forecasting & Reporting Activities mostly related with the financial sector.
One of the first incubators in Greece back in 2000, iCube was mainly focusing the technology arena. Their offering consisted of a partial / full funding plus all hosting facilities to support the incorporation of new technology ideas.
Within the incubator's framework, I have joined a software development group aimed to support the newly incubated enterprises and deliver a new set of customised solutions to the market. Among them a set of Business Process Re-engineering tools (i.e. IDS-Scheer BPR Suite), an internally developed BPM solution, an e-Learning platform and more.
Main Responsibilities: Pre-Sales / Sales Activities for the Enterprise Market.
Assigned with the task of starting up a new company related with the stock-exchange market, providing all the required operational infrastructure (i.e. Offices setup, Computer Room & Communications setup, Stock-Market software, etc.).
Responsibilities Summary:
HFC Ltd. (held by one of the largest audio equipment distributors in Greece) mission was to promote and deploy high-end audio equipment for medium domestic to large-scale corporate installations. Assigned with the task of promoting such type of solutions, I' ve had the opportunity to offer products and services to a large number of consumers and enterprises.
Responsibilities Summary:
Responsible for transforming a small line of business held by an advertisement company (Dot & Dash S.A.) to a new enterprise schema, enhancing their core activities with better logistics-warehouse management and IT infrastructure, in order to address a larger market share. Furthermore, I was assigned with the development & implementation of a new marketing approach plan to motivate the existing customer base with special offers and incentives (e.g. introduction of a special bonus club coupon rewarding customer loyalty), while expanding the existing customer network.
Responsibilities Summary:
S/W Development for the Hellenic Air Force Computer Centre during my military services. I 've had the opportunity to develop applications for the Ministry of Defence on a large mainframe system (Concurrent Technologies) running OS/32.
During the same period and given the world's universally accepted OS's (DOS) weaknesses back then, I was self-assigned with the task of developing a set of support tools for developers to enhance significantly the software development procedure. These tools were widely accepted by the software developers community.
Engaged in the development of large-scale Payroll & Accounting Systems-Heavily experienced in RMS Cobol and C programming on UNIX System III (Convergent Technologies-CTIX).
