This temporary position as a full-time Federal employee included engaging community members in the Montbello neighborhood in Denver, the City of Aurora, and in Logan, Washington, Yuma and Sedgwick Counties in NE Colorado. The main activities included:

  • Collaborating to set up events to promote the importance of the 2020 Census
  • Setting up partnerships to produce PSAs with key community members and
  • Training and engaging diverse community members in faith-based organizations, schools, local governments to enlist their support of census-related activities

Fundraising $21,000 and coordinating with community partners for an awareness campaign on RTD light-rail advertising
