After starting her career in finance as a series 6 & 63 licensed Estate Tax Planner, Ashley turned her attention and talents to Broadcast Journalism. Working her way across the country, she landed in New York, first at WPIX , then at Bloomberg TV as an Anchor and Stocks Editor and then as a Business News anchor for CBS Moneywatch. After almost 15 years on air in New York, she moved to Miami, Florida in 2014 to co-anchor the 5 hour morning newscast "Today In Florida" on Fox's WSVN-TV.
She continues her passion for tennis. A former NCAA, All-ACC, 4-year Full Scholarship tennis player at North Carolina State University, where she was also elected Team Captain both her junior and senior years. Ashley was also awarded the state's "Mental Attitude and Sportmanship Award," which is voted on by peers and coaches.
Ashley also played a news reporter in Steven Soderbergh's movie "Side Effects" with Jude Law, released in March 2013. She has also been on the cover of several magazines including 25A, Florida Creative Living, Weston Life and SHE and has also been featured in several other other magazines including JACQ and Vintage NYC magazine. In January 2014 she was inducted in the first ever "Hall Of Fame" at her high school, Columbus East High School. She is actively involved with St.Jude, LLS, Autism Speaks and Miami Learning School.
