The old wire rope was  spooled off onto a spooling winch, located on the deck. The new wire rope was on a separate, smaller vessel. Secured the new wire rope to the winch of the crane. Monitored the first two layers , to ensure  Supervised the Crane Operator to ensure Maintain good communication with crane op, the bridge, and other guys on the crew.
