Summary

Received my PhD in December 2020 from Texas Woman's University COAMFTE-accredited program in Family Therapy with a primary research focus in adolescent and young adult (AYA) oncology, medical family therapy, and sexual/relationship health. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (TX) and a Certified Sexuality Educator and Supervisor (AASECT). As a queer identified person, I believe that every member of humanity has a contribution to make, and people of different gender identity, age, race, ethnicity, income levels, religion, ability, sexual orientations, and relationship dynamics must have equal value and rights.

  • Presenting problems included but not limited to: Sexual/Intimacy issues (pelvic pain, chronic illness, trauma history, relationship betrayal, lack of education, etc), depression, anxiety, grief, chronic pain, stress management, and family dynamic issues.
