Dissertation research examined how local governments across Tennessee are preparing to meet the needs of increasingly diverse populations. The research identified current municipal practices, training, and resource gaps affecting equitable service delivery and citizen engagement. Findings underscored the need for proactive, community-centered approaches to ensure all residents are served effectively in changing demographic contexts.

Traveled to both Beijing and Dalian, China to study Comparative Studies in Sino-U.S. Public Administration at Donbei University of Finance and Economics in Dalian, China. Course and research focused on economic development, anti-poverty, and economic governance in China.
