After years of working for others, in all types of companies (from StartUps to consulting firms, large and small ones) I decided to create my own company, to develop quality software and give consulting services.
In the company we developed several products:
A digital label management software for Label Headway, a company that creates electronic labels for stores. This software was implemented in Telefónica stores and in Caprabo supermarkets.
This software was developed with Java, Spring, it used a small Flash module to design the labels, and it connected against the clients' systems to obtain the data and generate the prices and change them on demand.
I collaborated closely with Adesis Netlife, participating in the following projects:
Basically, I have been the technical manager of Adesis at Bankia, managing large teams, and researching new technologies, training and mentoring teams, as well as getting involved in developments and "unblocking" difficulties. I participated in the conceptualization of the new Bankia development architecture (AAD).
During the time I was at Wairbut we developed the following applications:
A software for a project of Standardization of Interventions for Nursing (NIPE) for the ISICS (the spanish college of nursing). This project was developed in Java, with its own MVC framework.
A project for Health of the Community of Madrid, a software to develop a HACCP system for the Madrid Health Service.
On the other hand, during my stay in this company, we set up a small software factory in the Walqa, in Huesca, for which I was responsible for training and managing. It was just 15 people.
Launch of a startup, a real estate website (Avenida.com), which was acquired by the newspaper ABC becoming ABCAvenida.com
We did the development with 4D and with Java (we used WebObjects 5). My job was to do practically everything. From the analysis to the development, going through the production.
Development of a blood analyzer management application for Abbott.
The application was developed with Visual Basic 6.0
Development of a school management application. This application was developed in Visual Basic 6.
Development of several internet portals for Spanish Catholic institutions.
We developed these portals with Microsoft's own technologies, with IIS servers and programming with IDC and HTX.
