Responsible for running MAW program in Writing.  Wrote successful proposals for new graduate degree programs for the New York State Board of Education.

I am the co‑author of The Portable Executive:  From Corporate Dependency to Self-Direction (Simon & Schuster, 1994); Best Vacation Rentals: United States and Canada; Best Vacation Rentals: Europe and Best Vacation Rentals: The Caribbean, published by Prentice‑Hall in 1991; and co‑author and consulting editor for 101 Best Businesses To Start, published by Doubleday in 1992.  In addition, my work has appeared in the following periodicals and magazines: American Bookseller, The Atlantic, Currents, Entrepreneurial Woman, Forbes, Goddard Review, Iowa Woman, Ladies' Home Journal, New Business Opportunities, The National Catholic Reporter, the New York Times, Unique Homes and Woman.    AWARDS     Best Business Book 1995, Library Journal Nominated for The Editor's Choice Award in Non‑fiction by Crown Publishers, Inc. in 1982 and 1983.   

Have created a wide variety of marketing collateral materials for Fortune 100 & 500 companies, as well as for small-to-medium sized businesses. Specialties include: Business, Financial Services, Real Estate, Education,Travel, Consumer Law, Women's Health.   March 2001-Present: Real Estate Marketing Consultant creating a wide variety of residential and commercial real estate marketing collateral.   January 1993-February 2001: External Marketing Consultant, Diversified Investment Advisors, Inc., Purchase, New York.  Responsible for copywriting and editing of quarterly broker/dealer newsletter, Insights;  copywriting of major strategic projects, including positioning brochure, defined benefits brochures; outsourcing brochure; image brochure; Taft-Hartley brochure and others.  Copywriting of national and regional print ads, direct mail letters and numerous other collateral materials.     January-March 1994: Designed and wrote five brochures for the Westchester Multiple Listing Service, White Plains, NY.   March 1992-June 1994:  Co-authored The Portable Executive:  From Corporate Dependency to Self-Direction published by Simon & Schuster, January 1995.   January-February, 1993:  Trainer, Mutual of New York, Purchase, New York.  Trained Marketing officers and employees in setting up a desktop publishing production system.   October 1993-August 1994: Consulting Editor for Brio and Currents magazines.    April 1990-July 1991: Designed and wrote the new Proposal System for Pitney Bowes' sales representatives, and handled the ongoing writing and editing for Pitney Bowes' Sales Development Department at their world headquarters in Stamford, CT.   February 1989-Present: Writer and Marketing Consultant for The Education Management Corporation.  Wrote a wide variety of marketing materials for the education industry, including two political lobbying brochures, and three books, concerning Title IV legislation for proprietary schools that were distributed to Congress in 1989 and 1991.                                                                                 Client list includes:   Cruise Passenger Network Diversified Investment Advisors (division of Aegon) Pitney Bowes GTE Phillip Morris Prudential Connecticut Real Estate Sotheby's International Real Estate
