Significantly re-tooled the business over a 24 month period in preparation for sale. Grew revenue from $101M in 2007 to $143M in 2009 despite culling product portfolio and paring headcount from 650 to 430 to enhance focus and drive execution. Delivered 8 consecutive quarters of over-performance to plan, averaging 167% of OpInc plan over a 2 yr period.
Full P&L for all Security and Communications Services offerings totaling ~$650M in Revenue and 2,700 employees through a matrixed org.
Responsible for all marketing functions globally including Product Management, Product Marketing, Vertical Marketing, PR/AR, Demand Management and Commercial Solutions.
Full P&L responsibility for the company's IP and Softswitch Services lines of business. Launched MPLS and IP-VPN portfolio to fuel enterprise growth.
Developed and drove execution of Softswitch Services strategy that resulted in growth from $300M to >$1B and eventually led to Level 3 being the number one share provider in both Managed Modem and Wholesale VoIP services.
