Summary

Charlotte is Founder and President  of TSF Management, Inc., a strategic consulting company and General Partner for The Seed Fund. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Smartleaf, Inc. and on the Advisory Board of Aliro Group, LLC. Charlotte has served on public, private and non-profit company Boards and on Board committees such as Audit, Compensation, Strategic Planning and Development.

She is former Chair and CEO of NASD and NYSE member firm Martin Simpson & Company, Inc., and NASDAQ-listed Sanctuary Woods Multimedia Corporation. Charlotte co-founded and served as Director & COO of MOCA Systems, Inc. and also served in C-Level Operating or Consulting roles at Doolli, Inc., Faith Popcorn's Brainreserve, Infratab, Inc., Purchased, Inc., Quality Interactions and Vuzix Corporation.

In addition to serving as Chair of the Board for Sanctuary Woods Multimedia Corporation and Martin Simpson & Company, Inc., Charlotte also served on the Board of Directors of MOCA Systems, Inc., Purchased, Inc., a Data Analytics and Measurement company, and Nurtury, Inc., an Early Care and Education non-profit.

    Earlier Career

    Charlotte has been involved in numerous technology company IPO's, M&A transactions and secondary equity offerings representing transaction volume in excess of $2 billion. She progressed in her financial services career to become a top-ranked technology analyst at L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin, Bear Stearns & Co. and BT Alex. Brown & Company where she held research and investment banking roles. Prior to her financial services career she was an enterprise software developer at the Southern Company's Georgia Power unit, later becoming an application specialist and project manager for large-scale enterprise applications at GEISCO where she honed both her management skills as well as her understanding of the demands of enterprise scale software development and performance.

    Philanthropy, education and passions

    Charlotte is a member of the American College of Corporate Directors and currently holds a Silver Level Executive Masters Directors Certification. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia (UVA) in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Computer Science. She was Treasurer of the Alpha Kappa Psi Society while at UVA. She previously attended George Washington University.

    She currently serves on the steering committee for Woman Owned Greenwich, a peer-to-peer mentoring organization for women who lead businesses in Greenwich, or who live in Greenwich and lead a business elsewhere. She is a member of the MIT Enterprise Forum Cambridge, as well as Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), where she is also a mentor for the E2 Fellowship program. She is the former Chair of the Emerging CEO Program at the Commonwealth Institute in Boston.

    Charlotte is passionate about supporting innovation and small business and, in this regard, is a mentor for entrepreneurs, founders, business owners and managers. She is an environment and oceans advocate and she loves her community in Greenwich Connecticut. She is very excited about the accelerating developments and challenges in technology and all sciences. She is a sailor, a skier and a swimmer. She enjoys hiking, travel, live theater, history, reading, art and writing about technology and business topics, both fiction and non-fiction.
