- Responsible for ensuring policies, procedures, and company standards met the needs of the organization, the requirements of regulators and statutory bodies, as well as the expectations and needs of the customer. These documents made up the quality, health, safety, and environmental management system which guides the activities, and decision making of the organization.
- Ensured document control was in place and verified document control requirements and governing standards for each document before publishing.
- Worked with relevant departments to review contract tenders, evaluate our ability to meet the requirements, and create quality plans to meet those requirements.
- Through implementing an alignment of or quality management system to ISO 9001:2015 (a project which I identified the need for based on customer requests, gathered support for, initiated, and executed) I was responsible for ensuring the components were in place to meet the requirements of the standard and supporting all departments in identifying and controlling their processes.
- Remained involved in various improvement projects, either as a project owner, subject matter expert, or other level of support willing to assist wherever I could. Through these projects I gained experience training employees in new initiatives, programs, and systems from one on one to groups of 100+.
- Developed quality goals and objectives annually
- Managed one Quality Performance Analyst in tracking, trending, and evaluating quality data to provide to top management for decision making purposes.
- Advised on requirements and best practices for evaluating and handling customer satisfaction.
- Conducted ISM and system audits in regional offices as necessary.
- Recorded, organized, and communicated customer feedback to provide management with data for decision making
- Identify need for corrective actions and suggest corrective action plans
- Address nonconformities from internal and external audits.
