Managing Director, Game Product & Marketing
At University Games, a global toy and game company based in San Francisco, I lead the development and marketing of educational games and products. My role includes:
- Driving B2C digital marketing efforts, including paid ads, social media, and email campaigns, to grow brand awareness and drive engagement with parents, educators, and specialty retailers.
- Developing integrated marketing strategies that combine crowdfunding (Kickstarter), licensing, PR, and multi-channel campaigns to boost visibility and sales of educational product lines.
- Managing licensing relationships with partners like Nickelodeon, Moonbug Entertainment, and MerryMakers to turn beloved children's properties into high-quality educational games.
- Overseeing product development from concept to shelf, supervising a team of 3, and ensuring licensed content is transformed into engaging, age-appropriate learning tools.
- Owning P&L for key product lines, balancing development and marketing costs to meet margin targets while maintaining product integrity.
