This job focuses on correct accounting configuration of project cost objects in order to follow corporate policy. I help users determine the appropriate course of action and assist them with the changes required.

• Participate on the PPM Tools Committee
• Produce and maintain the mapping for the Uniform System of Accounts
• Configure the SAP system for annual planning cycle.
• Review the MAPP documents for alignment to SAP PS functionality.

Special Projects:

2015: Worked with Internal Audit to develop a strategy on a fixed asset review. I met with Pamela Chang and explained SAP cost flows. Risk assessments were discussed.

2012: Adoption of IFRS. Policy interpretation meetings with Darin Hale and KPMG. Conducted research into componentization with Generation Project Delivery. Managed the SAP asset transformation process and liaised with the technical team.

This role focused on the accounting due diligence for EAR funding requests. This due diligence consisted of checking for adherence to BCH accounting guidelines and CGAAP, as well as documentation review for consistency. Business case review was also performed for small capital projects. Knowledge of the approval matrix for new and revised funding requests was also required.

This role oversaw the preparation of capital reporting requirements including the Generation Consolidated Capital Report (GCCR).

• Preparation of capital plan information and information requests stemming from the F09/10 Revenue Rate Application.

International Forest Products Limited is a public forest products company with approximately $825M of annual sales revenue. Projects included a sales and manufacturing system replacement and a sales & payroll data OLAP cube.

Special Projects:

2005-06: Worked with Internal Auditor to develop internal control documentation  for C-SOX Bill 198 requirements. Risk assessments were made on the reporting and reconciliation processes of each mill site.
