Summary

The limitless possibilities of creative expression fuel my passion for the performing arts. As a theatre instructor my goal is to inspire and empower my students to develop their creative voice. Those I serve in Fremont, like most Bay Area residents, are incredibly diverse and come from a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Many are recent immigrants and multilingual learners while others have special needs. My immediate aim is always to establish and maintain a safe, collaborative space where everyone feels valued and respected. In addition, I collaborate regularly with my visual and performing arts colleagues on campus as well as with theatre instructors within the Fremont Unified School District to design and develop inclusive, culturally responsive curriculum in the classroom.
