Program manager for a multi-million pound program of work including ten scrum teams and a world wide set of clients. Special interest in feature prioritization, based on cost of delay, scrum process optimization and alignment of scrum teams with  business priorities in a Rally environment. Managed a major business transformation of 100 branch offices around the world. Established a business model for DevOps.

There was no project governance structure when I started there. I set one up which integrated with the already existing Rally environment and aligned with Amex culture.

Probation Services Case Management system development -  Pega-based Introduction of Agile methodology  into Working Links.

Managing multi-disciplinary Agile teams including developers, user representatives and  supplier team members in a DevOps environment. I was also was involved in  Contract negotiation with supplier.

This was a project for the business transformation of all the Probation Offices in Wales and the South West, following their privatization. This involved changes to the daily work of hundreds of employees.

Avios Ltd manages British Airways' loyalty program.

I managed  e-commerce/retail web-based Agile projects which created new ways to acquire and spend frequent flyer points on and the Call Centre. These projects had budgets up to £1,000,000.

My contract was renewed eight times over three years.

My scrum teams were located in the UK, India and USA and included both  Avios and supplier team members.

I had the  total budget, delivery and quality responsibility  from business case and initiation through to delivery and closure. I often managed several projects simultaneously.

I played a leading role in the re-writing of Project Governance processes and in mentoring junior project managers. The Project Governance needed to be brought line with the adoption of Agile processes to replace a Prince2 environment

I managed projects to introduce the new version of Westlaw in  Ireland, Hong Kong, and Malaysia following an Agile approach and involving businesss transformation in their international enviroment.

These were complex projects involving content creation in the three  separate international business units, data  pathway creation in Holland, Oracle databases  located in the U.S. A,  application software developed in the U.K and SAP Business systems administered in the US.A.

I managed the development of this portal which gives  public access to government information and services. . This project experienced serious issues in supplier performance, requiring stringent negotiation to meet published deadlines. It had a budget of $5,000,000 and was delivered six months ahead of schedule.

The Minister's Office of the Department of Health, provides support services to the Minister of Health.

I managed the migration of electronic documents to the department's centralised  document management system. This required diplomatic skills to overcome apprehension on the part of senior government officers as to document security. This resulted in a transformation of the Minister's office to adopt Department-wide systems. This was regarded as a major  achievement.
