Seeing and Treating patients in the Acute setting that includes Urgent Care, Family Practice, and Work Med patients. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Performing Histories and Physicals, Ordering lab tests and diagnostic studies. Ordering and interpreting x-rays, Laceration and Wound Care, lesion removal, Slit lamp exams, and all duties pertinent to the Urgent care setting. DOT exams. Provide cost effective medical care for patient populations with gaps in medical coverage due to high cost of insurance plans, or inability to afford insurance as presented through the Sterling Membership Model.

Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho clinic locations. Member of Senior Management team and Partner in Sterling Provider Group. Provide leadership in key areas of development, manage and train Provider staff. Review concerns with patient satisfaction and evaluate cases as needed through Peer Review Process. 

Employed Currently Part time. Provide Emergency Medicine care in a rural setting. Includes but not limited to: Performing Histories and Physicals on all ER patients. Suturing and Wound Care. Order and interpret lab tests, diagnostic studies, and x-rays. Provide care for Orthopedic injuries including: reduction, splinting, and casting. Perform emergent procedures within scope of practice. Consult with Physicians and Specialists. Stabilization of trauma patients. Consulting outlying facilities for patients that require transfer. Treat variety of conditions that present to the Emergency Department setting.

Employed on a PRN basis to cover rural Emergency departments in North   Dakota. Services include caring for Emergency Medicine patients that may include critical care patients, trauma stabilization, and other urgent care responsibilities.

Was employed both full and part-time. Performed histories and physicals on a variety of ER patients. Ordered and interpreted lab tests, diagnostic studies, and x-rays.  Provided care for orthopedic injuries. Performed procedures under scope of practice of supervising Physician. Consulted with specializing Physicians regarding patient care and follow up. Worked closely with board-certified ER Physician in an ER setting to provide standard of care medicine.

Employed part. Provided health care in a rural setting for Family Practice and Urgent care patients. Practice included but not limited to:  Starting IV’s and administering IV medication when needed, Performing and interpreting x-rays, dispensing medicine from Pharmacy, ordering and interpreting diagnostic lab tests, and caring for wounds and lacerations.     

Received, coordinated, and dispatched life flight requests. Flight followed aircraft while en route to and from life flight missions. Confirmed landing zones and set up rendezvous points. Monitored aircraft and emergency department activity.  Organized and directed intra-facility transports. Received ambulance reports and relayed emergent information to medical direction. Supervised quality assurance of all x-rays and EKG’s read by the Emergency Department staff.

Responsibilities as a Ward Clerk included completing orders from Physicians and PAs for labs, x-rays, and ultrasounds. Coordinated patient care with staffing.
