Responsible for end-to-end master data management for First Data's SpendTrend product, including data governance, stewardship, methodology, analysis, and production. The product was first created in 2009 and then re-developed at my direction to solve for data and trending anomalies in 2013.

  • SpendTrend consumer spend data is currently reported in major media outlets (MSNBC, Wall Street Journal, AP, etc.) and utilized by major financial investment firms.
  • Economic trend analysis were highly correlated to DOC retail trends
  • Produced retail and service event analysis for publication through major media outlets

Created a data management tool to solve for data anomalies and inconsistencies.

  • The tool is currently leveraged to build new customer-facing output and improve existing processes.

To assess client reporting needs, I met with major retail company executives, financial companies, and IAS partners to develop industry-related custom data reports using SpendTrend or similar methodology for retail growth trend reporting.

  • Responsible for data management and delivery for many business requests, including loyalty product support, national account custom reporting, press release analysis, and ad-hoc analytics.
  • Managed high-performing analytics and development team responsible for new product initiatives, process improvement, and product expansion.

  • Owned and managed the development and delivery of National Account reporting to TeleCheck’s National customer base.
  • Assessment of merchant profitability of the National Account portfolio for forecasting. My team built and automated profitability analysis processes that systemically identified the profitability of our National retail clientele, and provided recommendations to sales staff for rate adjustments.
