UX Manager, Google Cloud Platform Compute Engine

Scaled and led a team of Interaction Designers to improve the user experience of the GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Compute Engine to enable GCP users to more easily setup, configure and monitor virtual machines (VMs) running in Google's innovative data centers and worldwide fiber network. 

  • Led change and transition management efforts to transition UX workload from Warsaw, Poland to Seattle, WA.
  • Established UX operational model and process infrastructure for the team’s engagement with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, UX Writers.
  • Provided overall design direction and guidance and managed day-to-day strategic planning and operational activities to ensure the success of the product and the team.

Scaled and led a UX team (Interaction Designers, Researchers and Visual Designers) to support UX design for Google Cloud DevOps tools that supported the developer workflow.

Manager, Human-Centered Design / UX


Established and managed a global Human-Centered Design program for largest manufacturer of data center hardware and software solutions. Led complex multi-disciplinary projects with collocated and globally distributed project teams. Established operational processes, procured material and human resources and tools and established global UX design standards. Provided strategic design direction for consumer solutions deployed across multiple device form factors; ensuring a cohesive look/feel compliant with corporate branding guidelines. 

  • Led design strategy to architect a user interface framework to support an entire line of products and device form factors, and not just a single product. Planned UX requirements with internal stakeholders and ushered projects through the entire project lifecycle. Planned and oversaw upfront user research, established product design vision, managed project schedules, identified risks and clearly communicated goals to project stakeholders. Managed product experience roadmap and milestones.

Product Dev Challenge (Side Project)

Cornell University College of Engineering (eCornell)

As a requirement to complete the Customer-Focused Product & Service Design Certification - successfully gathered requirements and developed a hypothetical wearable healthcare product that would bring medical monitoring and trauma-alert care into the patient’s home at an affordable cost. Solution was an all-in-one, sensor-enabled (IoT), hospital-based monitoring device for patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse and blood glucose) as well as for oxygen saturation and cardiac rhythm.


Human Factors Engineer (UX - Software)

INTEL CORP. (Hillsboro, OR)

Served as an Agile Product Owner with oversight of product user interface requirements. Planned product requirements with internal stakeholders and managed product backlog of an enterprise SAP CRM solution used by the Intel Global Sales team to manage a sales funnel that generated $30M in sales annually. Leveraged previous experience  in Lean/Agile IT transformation to assist with enterprise-level agile transformation consisting of multiple Agile team. 

  • Partnered effectively on behalf of the business, both internally within teams and cross-functionally across the enterprise to drive key strategic processes and initiatives. Helped to establish Agile UX process and practices  
  • Created strategic narratives for the business, and communicated design strategy with the management team and key stakeholders.
  • Planned and facilitated user research(Contextual Inquiry) and usability testing with end-users. Created personas, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, Product Vision documents.

Sr. Software Systems Analyst - UX

NIKE (Beaverton, OR)

Hired to help establish a new cross-functional Agile development team based on previous experience as Lean Methodology Consultant to Nike IT. 

  • Assisted with user research and developing personas
  • Provided requirements definition and  front-end UI design for a financial forecasting, margin reporting and price optimization software solution that was estimated to result in $1.2 billion in shareholder value within 3 years of implementation..
  • Documented user stories, participated in backlog review and story estimation activities.
  • Served as Offshore Coordinator for distributed Agile team members in Hong Kong, China.

Lean Methodology Consultant (Onsite)

NIKE (Beaverton, OR)

Helped design and drive organizational change through a mix of SDLC design and agile coaching. Worked as a consultant within Nike's 'Strategy, Culture and Operations' group.  Assisted with various process and change management activities related to the migration of the Nike's IT organization to an Agile software development environment. Aided in establishing agile best practices within the IT organization.


Web Technology Specialist


Designed and maintained dozens of intranet websites (HTML and SharePoint sites) and served as a member of the Southern Company Intranet Standards & Governance Committee. Winner of the 2008 Southern Company Service Excellence Award for leading the implementation of an enterprise-wide RSS (Really Simple Syndication) web solution that improved the quality of customer service support..
