As a freelance English trainer, I specialize primarily in teaching English to native German speakers, with a strong focus on IT English, Business English, company-specific English training, Abitur/Matura preparation, exam preparation, and professional communication skills. My services are offered online to educational institutes, language schools, companies, retraining providers, and private clients in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and beyond.

With more than 25 years of experience, I have created and delivered tailored English training content for approximately 100 companies, educational institutions, and private clients. My work includes specialized courses in IT English, Business English, academic English, and exam preparation, as well as customized training for professional retraining programs and industry-specific workplace communication.

I have partnered with a wide range of educational providers and institutions, including Oxford School for English, GFN, Top-Coach and others. While my training is especially designed for German-speaking learners, I also support international learners and organizations requiring flexible, practical, and goal-oriented English training.

In addition to live online instruction, I support continuous and lifelong learning through personalized online learning gateways, custom learning materials, and curated digital resource collections. These tools enable learners to practise independently before, during, and after lessons while maintaining a clear connection to their individual learning objectives.

I also design custom dual-language AI learning scripts, prompts, and interactive learning tools in English and German. These resources are developed to provide more targeted, personalized, and context-specific language practice based on a learner’s profession, language level, interests, communication needs, and learning goals. They can be used for vocabulary development, grammar practice, professional communication, conversation training, exam preparation, technical English, role-plays, simulations, and independent guided study.

As part of my training, I also provide practical guidance on the effective use of artificial intelligence for language learning. This includes introducing learners and trainers to a variety of AI tools and platforms, demonstrating suitable prompting techniques, evaluating AI-generated language, identifying limitations and potential errors, and showing how AI can be incorporated responsibly into structured learning routines. My aim is not simply to introduce new technology, but to help learners use it critically, independently, and effectively.

I bring long-standing experience in virtual world language learning through Virtlantis, a virtual world language learning community that I initiated in 2006. Virtlantis provides opportunities for immersive language practice, teacher collaboration, community based learning, and creative e-learning experiences. The project is currently being reconceptualized and expanded to attract new learners, teachers, and educational partners. Virtlantis is a free and public resource - a gift to both language learners and teachers worldwide.

My broader expertise includes e-learning content development, AI-supported language learning, prompt and learning-script design, online learning community management, virtual learning environments, mobile-supported training, and custom English course design for diverse professional, academic, and technical contexts.
