Working as an executive, management consultant, and international attorney for companies around the world, George Mentz has founded and operated many successful enterprises and established a reputation as a global business leader in the international community. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, The International Barristers Society, part of the Advisory Council for the Harvard Business Review, a Charter Member Certified e-Commerce Consultant for CEC, an licensed attorney admitted in Louisiana and The US Federal Courts, and the founder and creator of a comprehensive wealth management curriculum and certification program which was featured in the Wall Street Journal. 

Currently, George Mentz is an attorney at Mentz Law, LLC, focusing on consumer protection law and investment securities law, with consulting offices in New York, California, Switzerland, United Kingdom, India, Singapore, and other locations around the world. In addition to his practice, George Mentz is the CEO, Chairman, and General Counsel of the American Academy of Financial Management ( AAFM ® ), which has more than 25,000 members in over 150 countries. The primary certifications offered by the AAFM are CWM ® Chartered Wealth Manager and MFP ® Master Financial Planner. 

In addition to his professional law and business career, George Mentz as a college professor who has taught more than 200  courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels with accredited schools globally. Mentz has been honored with two National Faculty Awards for Excellence in Ethics as well as a Distinguished Faculty Award and a Meritorious Service Medal for Charitable Service. George Mentz has written and published over 30 books and training guides which have been used by the top banks and institutions in the world in the USA and China. Along with his consulting companies, he has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine, the Arab Times, the China Daily, and numerous other publications worldwide.

George Mentz consults with the US Government and United Nations on Domestic and  International Financial Issues while helping people from around the world improve their education and careers. 

Mentz has served on the advisory board of the Global Finance Forum, China Wealth Management Council, The Arab Academy of Banking and Financial Sciences Certification board, The Indian Institute of Financial Management Advisory Board, the African Economists Association Board, the Royal Society of Fellows Board, and the Capitulo Latinoamérica Board.
