Good Cause Awards: Led the production of finalist videos and VT (Video Tape) packages for the esteemed Good Cause Awards. This project showcased the inspiring stories and achievements of the nominees through a variety of engaging content formats over 9 months. 

  • 36 x 60-Second Stories: Produced thirty-six individual one-minute stories, each highlighting the unique contributions and accomplishments of the finalists. These stories were crafted to be both emotionally compelling and visually engaging, ensuring a powerful narrative that resonates with the audience.

  • 36 x 20-Second Stings: Created thirty-six concise and impactful twenty-second stings, designed to provide quick yet memorable snapshots of the finalists' stories. These stings were utilized to maintain audience interest and engagement throughout the awards event and related promotional activities.

  • 6 x Category VT Packages: Developed six comprehensive category VT packages, each focusing on a specific award category. These packages included detailed profiles of the finalists, behind-the-scenes footage, and thematic storytelling to enhance the viewer's understanding and appreciation of the nominees' efforts within their respective categories.

This significant event, part of the Web Summit, required seamless adaptation to a virtual format, ensuring a high-quality and engaging experience for global participants.

  • Remote Collaboration: Coordinated and collaborated with a team of 12 editors to manage the extensive content requirements of the conference. This involved effective communication, task delegation, and maintaining a cohesive workflow despite the challenges posed by remote working conditions.

  • Content Production and Editing: Oversaw the production and editing of a wide array of conference materials, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and promotional videos. Ensured that all content was polished, professional, and aligned with the high standards expected by Web Summit.

  • Temping Up VFX Shots: Created temporary visual effects shots during the editing phase to provide a clear reference for the final VFX work. This involved using placeholder effects to simulate the intended final result, helping to maintain the visual narrative throughout the post-production process.

  • Tracking VFX & Music: Monitored the progress of VFX shots and music compositions, ensuring all elements were progressing as planned and making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and maintain quality.

  • Scene Alts: Produced alternative versions of scenes (scene alts) to provide creative options during the editing process. This allowed for flexibility in storytelling and ensured that the best possible version of each scene was achieved.

  • Sound & Music Turnovers: Coordinated the handover of sound and music elements from the editorial team to the sound department, ensuring that all audio components were correctly formatted and synchronized with the visual elements.

  • DI & Titles Turnovers: Oversaw the digital intermediate (DI) process and the creation of titles, ensuring that color grading, visual consistency, and title sequences were completed to the highest standards.

  • Temp Sound Work: Developed temporary sound designs and mixes during the editing phase to approximate the final audio experience. This included adding sound effects, dialogue, and music to create a complete auditory landscape for review and refinement.

  • Prepping Screenings: Prepared materials for internal and external screenings, ensuring that all visual and audio elements were correctly formatted and synchronized. This included creating screening versions that accurately represented the intended final product.

  • Final Delivery Exports & Paperwork: Managed the final export of all project materials, ensuring that all deliverables met technical specifications and quality standards.
