In my time working on the Google Pixel phones, I have gained familiarity with system/embedded software for consumer electronics and mobile devices - including the Android/AOSP OS and the Linux kernel.

I have intermediate experience with back-end development, and have written and maintained full-stack web apps and APIs using modern tools and frameworks:
Python, Node.js, MongoDB, SQL

As part of the Pixel team, I manage the development of software & features for the Google Pixel device portfolio.
Key responsibilities and focus areas include:
- Drive the development lifecycle of premium device software, delivered to millions of users worldwide
- Manage a growing portfolio of software features and expansion to new markets
- Define program strategy and scale execution across product, UX & engineering teams
- Guide continuous, iterative cross-functional process improvements
- Develop and build partnerships between internal & external stakeholders
- Build tooling to help monitor software release lifecycle, engineering velocity & feature roadmap
Key accomplishments:
- Created launch plan and guided engineering efforts for new container-native load balancing (NEG) feature
- Drove cross-product, cross-functional team processes
- Built tools (dashboards, tracking sheets, status pages) to monitor team velocity and drive closure on organizational OKRs
- Assisted with solving technical and logistical challenges encountered by engineering
Worked with an agile software engineering team to develop a vehicle title management system in AngularJS, Bootstrap and LESS/SASS
I studied at Butler University, majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Interactive Media.
Served as President of Butler University's ACM chapter. Led monthly meetings and hosted social events, actively communicated with all members, and assisted with budgeting and reports.
Led the Student Government Association Web Team, built and maintained sga.butler.edu, provided training in various web technologies team members
10 week intensive internship program where high performing technical students are paired with Indianapolis tech companies. Over the course of the program the students participate in personal and professional development and gain exposure to the Indy Tech Community.
