Texas Commission on Environmental Quality "TCEQ"

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is the environmental agency for the state. TCEQ strives to protect the state's public health and natural resources consistent with sustainable economic development with the goal of clean air, clean water, and the safe management of waste.

  • Collaborated with project teams and leaders in scientific, technical, and business on how TCEQ executes its mission of protecting the environment.  Participated and contributed in the following field study areas:
    • Air emissions permitting, monitoring air quality, and managing air resources
    • Land-based monitoring of petroleum, agriculture, waste disposal, cleanups, etc.
    • Reporting and monitoring water quality and availability

Also, exploring an organization's culture; learning workplace policies and procedures, and networking.

Intramural Supervisor

TAMU-CC Recreational Sports

Responsible for supervising all intramural staff, acting as a team lead and mentor. Promotion and outreach of TAMU-CC sports program to peers and patrons throughout campus.

  • Overseeing officials and participants for safety, first responder
  • On-site liaison and operations-related activities 
  • Effective communication and conflict management in enforcing all policies to maintain sportsmanship with staff and patrons
  • Assist with the recruitment, selection, training, and evaluation of officials and scorekeepers

TAMU-CC Recreational Sports

Implement Intramural Sports policies and playing rules to maintain an appropriate level of control, fairness, and safety. Maintain a positive attitude on-site and always strive to improve officiating skills.

  • Officiate Intramural sports and attend all training and clinics 
  • Assist with pre and post-game logistics and administrative functions
  • Assist with the preparation and inspection of the game site
  • Understand emergency/evacuation procedures
  • Provide positive public relations, program promotion, and policy education to participants
  • Provide a friendly, upbeat, and customer service-oriented environment at all times
