As a Scrum Master for two teams (DWH and application team), I focus on creating increased predictability, less overflow and improved transparency in multiple teams. Besides, I conduct ad-hoc coaching in other teams and 1:1 Scrum Master coaching/sparring on demand.

As a freelance consult and owner of One Direction Consult, I focus on successful agile development by cultivating and encouraging value-driven mindset and feedback-driven development in teams and organizations.

• Practicing and encouraging Agile mindset and behaviors; coaching, inspiring and mentoring teams on Agile principles, values and practices.
• Ensuring progress toward objectives, KPIs and commitments; guiding assigned Agile teams to deliver the required product increments and outcomes.
• Agile coaching several Scrum Teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to customers.
• Performing assessments, looking for areas of improvement, providing guidance and follow-up.
• Ensuring that Scrum is understood, and teams adhere to Scrum theory, practices, and guidelines.

• Setting scrum and agile standards, solving cross-team delivery problems, and aligning with enterprise reporting efforts.
• Coaching delivery teams through scrum/agile adoption, removing delivery obstacles, guiding the team’s use of visual management tools, and facilitating all scrum ceremonies.
• Serving as a servant leader, problem solver and escalation point for the team.
• Defining metrics to support and guide continuous improvement.
• Helping identifying impediments and discovering ways to remove dependencies.

• Facilitating scrum-of-scrums, sprint plannings, daily scrums, backlog refinements, sprint reviews and retrospectives.  
• Assisting identifying and mitigating team risks and impediments (Blocking Issues & Critical Defects) on daily basis.
• Successfully guiding the development team through transition from Waterfall to Agile development.
• Continously improving team capacity and velocity from historical data to reflect reality.
• Creating Work Break down structure (for user stories) and corresponding activities (tasks).
• Educating and reinforcing scrum methodology and agile framework principles to team members and key stakeholders.

• Introducing Kanban, thereby eliminating unwanted back2back work on same tasks or tasks falling between chairs.
• Introducing backlogs to manage and prioritize a comprehensive portfolio.
• Developing transparency, alignment and acceptance from both business and development side due to Kanban and backlog introduction.
• Facilitating Backlog Refinements, Reviews and Retrospective meetings.
• Assisting in removing impediments on a daily basis to enhance the team's ability to deliver according to goals.
• Working with customers and Product Owners to help prioritize and validate requirements.
• Facilitating discussions, decision making and conflict resolution.
