  • Oral Surgery Clerkship (June 2014-May 2015): As one of 15 oral surgery clerks during 4th year of dental school, I attended regular oral surgery seminars on topics such as third molar extractions, surgical extractions, implantology, anesthesiology and management of medically compromised patients.  Additionally, as a clerk, I performed procedures such as extractions (simple and surgical), third molar extractions (erupted and soft-tissue impacted), alveoloplasty, socket preservation, crown lengthening, and implant placement.
  • Pediatric Dentistry Clerkship (August 2013-June 2014): As a junior pediatric dentistry clerk, I attended seminars and continuing education courses on dental trauma, cariology, pulp therapy and behavior management.  I also treated pediatric patients regularly at the Cherry Hill dental clinic in Baltimore as well as participated in various oral health screenings in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area including Langley Park and local elementary schools.  Also involved in the President's Clinic, an interdisciplinary team composing of law, medical, social work, nursing, and dental students working together to discuss and plan treatment in the University of Maryland Medical Center's Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology.
  • Academy of General Dentistry Executive Member (September 2014-May 2015): With the Maryland AGD, I coordinated CE courses and lunch and learn events for students the University of Maryland-Baltimore School of Dentistry.
