Ebenezer Scrooge

Note:  The slight decrease in interest rates charged in May was caused by the recent choIera outbreak in the city.  Unfortunately, I had to slightly decrease the rates during this bad business period.  I am applying for a position as a board member for your bank.  I have a proven ability to loan money at high rates of interest.  I have no qualms about taking whatever meager possessions a client may have if they do not make the monthly payments in a timely manner.  On a side note, I also believe that my ruthlessness helps to make my clients more responsible citizens.
