•Manage team of 19 employees (sewers, pattern makers and hand stitchers, stock managers) for ready-to-wear division, creating two collections per season. (Ready-to-Wear and GH collections•Supervise production in atelier in terms of bulk boutique production orders, as well as made-to-fit client orders.
•Assist with designing collection of both Ready-to-Wear and GH collections.
•Create moulage for each sketch to hand over to pattern maker.
•Work with pattern maker to create prototype.
•Hold fittings on a live model for design changes and technical alterations.
•Manage orders for boutiques by deadline,workload, and manpower available.
•Schedule tasks for pattern makers, sewers, hand stitchers.
•Monitoring of sewer's work while sewing pieces and inspection after hand stitching.
•Handle communication with suppliers of fabrics, trims and embroidery abroad for test samples and orders.
•Visit local fabric showrooms, as well as meetings with fabric company representatives when sales-touring.
•Compile detailed reports of atelier production in accordance to output produced per month/per sewer.
•Manage team of 7 sewers in-house as well as follow up on production orders outsourced.
•Create prototypes for new collections of Ready-to-wear/ Couture/ Bridal.
•Create Purchase Order and proceed with follow up for fabrics/ trims/ embroidery,purchased both within the country and abroad.
•Organize production of orders for Karoline Lang showrooms as well as individual boutiques, both within atelier as well as outsourced items.
•Responsible for general quality control of garments.
•Manage and produce client orders for Paris showroom as well as adjusting modifications during fittings.
• Create detailed files per garments reference for later use during production/ costing, such as fabrics used, consumption, interfacing, trim details etc.
•Create costing for each garment within collection to be priced according to materials, as well as hourly workmanship timing.
•Prepare and manage order schedule/ shipping logistics for orders to be delivered in timely and less costly manner.
•Design full collections of evening wear garments.
•Commence by assembling theme mood boards, research of theme, color trend board, sketching, embroidery samples, technical sketches and flat sketches.
•Create moulage by hand followed by building prototypes with pattern maker.
•Create mood boards, illustrations, technical sheets and monitored production of all accessories( shoes, purses, belts, jewelry, for ready-to-wear, haute couture, and made-to- order).
•Assisted with ready-to-wear collection research, mood boards, illustrations, as well as rendering on photoshop.
•Assisted with ready-to-wear production by organizing database of orders, documentation of garments, cost sheets, sample modification,as well as handling communication between our offices and those of suppliers abroad.
•Designed 30 pairs of avant garde eyewear to be submitted to LINDA FARROW for production.
•Designed a 3-style collection of avant-garde footwear under eponymous label, JONATAN.
•The collection sold at CREAM boutique in Beirut Central District.
