Developed a ROS-based camera driver that utilizes frequency based computer vision techniques for the purpose of visual odometry.

Utilized C++, OpenCV, ROS, MATLAB, and Qt.
Coordinating with lab members on a weekly basis for project updates, practice presentations, and occasional field work.

Collaborated with graduate students and faculty for to modify and field-test the payload section for a Riptide AUV, designed multiple iterations of fairing attachments for DVL, side-scan capability, and pressure-tolerant communications masts.  

Partnered with a small team to construct a two man deploy-able prototype vehicle, featuring ballast and movable weight systems for different motion configurations

Experimented with CFD hydrodynamic characterization using OpenFOAM, later turned into a Riptide AUV
modification project in 2020 utilizing SOLIDWORKS extensively for fairing design and rapid prototyping. 

Designed, constructed, and implemented a low-cost off-the-shelf parts Variable Buoyancy System for the MAUVe, a multipurpose, easy to deploy AUV system that can convert from a standard vehicle to a vertical profiling position.

Maintained rapid-prototyping appliances including FDM and SLA 3D printers for lab use.

Created a steel and PVC sensor cage for the Integrated Bay Observatory Program, which consisted of nitrate,
phosphate, CTD, and optical sensors, work served as a model for future works after 2019.
