Career Statement

My area of experience, interest, and expertise involves trauma, crisis, and sexuality cases in the adolescent to mid-adulthood population. I enjoy work in agencies, and via private contracting and would enjoy offering my services to any volunteering network or nonprofit specializing in the areas of human service, and human sexuality. I advocate passionately for the LGBTQ+ population, and gravitate to working involving this population

Work History


Counselor/ Advocate/ Educator

  • Provide counseling and group services to those survivors of sexual trauma and families.
  • Conduct intakes and appropriate assessments to establish level of care.
  • Create, manage, and conduct sexual violence prevention and awareness programming.
  • Provide guidance and supportive services for individuals involved in the legal and medical system
  • Conduct programming focusing on faith-based and medical providers to provide training and resources for working with survivors of sexual assault
  • Appropriate and timely response to hotline contact as well as medical advocacy for survivors of sexual violence

  • Process clients through mental health crisis.
  • Maintain unit with a maximum of 8 clients.
  • Keep accurate and timely notes and records of client(s).
  • Telephone, Walk In, and Mobile Services, assessing client needs.
  • Coordinate services with case management and outpatient services.

  • Produce confidential documentation in a timely manner.
