Establish, work closely with and maintain long term relationships with accounts and sales consultants to promote and grow the Mackenzie-Childs business.
Sell in, recommend and coach selling techniques for all core and new products each selling season.
Ensure timely receipt of all order confirmations.
Maintain contact with accounts and sales consultants through calls, emails and virtual meetings to grow sales and to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain feedback.
Work with production to facilitate sample distribution to accounts and sales consultants for advertising and road selling needs.
Help address and resolve customer complaints and issues with products.
Process all orders assigned via NetSuite/NuOrder/Brandwise/Bizperanto and verify accuracy.
Provide on-going feedback to the company, from accounts and sales consultants, on sales trends within territories.
Provide excellent service to accounts and sales consultants by replying to phone and e-mail inquiries on a variety of issues relating to products, promos, pricing, lead times, availability, damages, and back orders.
Work collaboratively with the returns department, accounting and warehouse staff to support all account and sales consultant needs.
Document interaction with account prospects to ensure efficient management of leads.
Attend Dallas and Atlanta markets twice yearly to present the product line to buyers and support the sales consultants selling.
Assist in development of company annual fiscal budget, targets and implement sales strategies necessary to attain goals.
Manage with sound judgement and discretion, working in line with company policies and regulations when carrying out sales operations.
Provide ongoing Sales Training internally as well as externally for all road sales consultants.
