With almost 20 years' experience delivering commercial outcomes across the engineering, construction, utilities, renewables, energy, resources and infrastructure sectors, Kelly has a breadth of experience in whole of lifecycle commercial support, compliance, and corporate governance across construction projects, from commencement through to project close out and management of claims.
She is an ambitious and motivated advisor, ensuring key commercial drivers are met, whilst leading teams and businesses in the appropriate identification, mitigation, treatment and management of risks during tendering, construction and project completion. Kelly is adept in managing the compliance and corporate governance aspects of construction projects, working with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure the 'best for project' and business outcomes are achieved.
Kelly has worked with project owners, clients, subcontractors and other external stakeholders to provide commercial and strategic advice, along with dispute resolution and claims management. Her oral and written communication skills allow her to maintain a high level of analytical thinking, whilst managing project relationships and ensuring high quality services are provided.

Head of Commercial and Risk for division, which included responsibility for commercial outcomes across the IFM and Asset Services teams, establishment of a commercial delivery model for a $10b package of NSW state government capital works and advising on and managing multiple claims across Australia and New Zealand valued in excess of $200m.
Governance, Risk and Commercial oversight of the Downer/BMD Contract for the upgrade to the West Camden plant, which doubled capacity of the plant. Responsibilities included input to and review of commercial claims under the NEC4 contract used for this project
Governance, risk and commercial lead for the setup and commencement of delivery of a 60MW EPC and O&M contract in northwest Western Australia.
Commercial lead for the delivery of the project and management of disputes in excess of $50m, including interfacing with key client executive and commercial representatives, negotiating agreed outcomes in relation to project time and cost claims.
Project governance, risk and commercial management for the delivery of a 349MW solar farm project, including interfacing between the project team, internal and external legal teams and Executive Management for the resolution of a global delay and disruption claim.
Project governance, risk and commercial support for the delivery of 100MW solar farm EPC contract, including preparation and negotiation of delay claim position.
Commercial, risk and governance oversight for a national portfolio of substation and transmission line projects, including development of project documents in accordance with governance requirements, preparing project teams for and assisting with project audits and reviews including actioning outcomes; establishment of risk registers and monthly risk review process and oversight of all commercial matters, including review of all contract claims development of commercial strategy for projects in distress.
Project commercial support for the start-up and initial delivery phases, including ensuring the project team met all client and Downer governance requirements. Development of the commercial strategy to ensure claims were made in accordance with the contract requirements whilst managing stakeholder relationships and balancing the need to protect the time and cost interests of Downer against the client's interests.
Project governance, commercial and risk support for the Design & Construction of the HV trunking portion of the project, including the successful resolution of an 18month time and cost claim.
Project governance, risk and commercial support for the delivery of a 128MW solar farm EPC contract and a 25 year O&M contract, including stakeholder management during the transition from project delivery phase to operation and maintenance phase.
Governance, risk and commercial lead for the delivery of the project and management of key stakeholder relationship with POSCO E&C Australia, resulting in a formal Relationship Agreement being signed between the parties.
Project Governance, risk and commercial support for the Design & Construct contract for a coal handling and preparation plant.
Project Commercial support for the electrical and mechanical construction of the coal
terminal project, including multiple successful time and cost claims across the project
duration.
Project contract management and commercial support for the electrical scope of both water treatment plants, including collation of claims, including variations, extensions of time and cost claims, and ensuring all contractual project close out requirements were met.
