Hired on to design and lead transformation of the Network and Systems Engineering departments from traditional equipment and processes to Next-Gen network and SaaS services.  Work with department leaders to determine site by site needs.  Perform a major tech debt consolidation effort and remove waste and deprecated equipment.  Lead Chicago site relocation efforts, combining two locations into single location.  Control move budget of $2M and an IT expense budget of $6M.

- Redesigned LAN network interconnecting 58 sites by engineering and implementing a cloud-based SD-WAN managed network solution, including creating a mesh network to absorb failures in WAN transport for continuing connectivity.

Brought aboard to redesign network and user systems from bottom up, in addition to build an IT Staff to accommodate a rapidly growing two factor authentication start up.  Tasks included making single site redundant with HA Pair Firewalls and Load Balancers, MSSQL Cluster, EIGRP Routing w/Automated VPN Creation, then moving those philosophies to multiple redundant sites.  In charge of IT Budget of $1M.

- Implemented f5 LTM Balancers, capable of 4.5k transaction per second(9k with license upgrade)

- Built redundant datacenter running hot/hot with global load balancing

- Built proxy datacenter for customers with specific needs to ease onboarding process
