A Leader in Santa Barbara Real Estate - Kenneth Slaught

He received his bachelor’s degree in business and economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he played on the school’s varsity basketball team. In 1983, Kenneth Slaught founded Investec Real Estate Companies and began investing in real estate across coastal California. He quickly built Investec into one of the premier real estate companies in Southern California, overseeing the purchase and sale of more than $1 billion of single-family homes and retail/commercial properties. In addition to his successful real estate career, Kenneth Slaught has established himself as a dedicated philanthropist. He has spent nearly three decades as a board member for Storyteller Children’s Center, a Santa Barbara nonprofit organization providing early childhood education and family support services for homeless and at-risk children. Additionally, he has served for over 20 years on the board of the Dream Foundation, helping the organization fulfill end-of-life wishes for adults with terminal illnesses.

In his free time, Kenneth Slaught enjoys competing in marathons and triathlons, reading the works of Robert Ludlum and Tom Clancy, and traveling with his wife.
