Prior to Sand Cherry Associates, Kevin was the Director of Customer Experience Operations at Castlight Health, where they were responsible for cross functional process improvement, system implementation & maintenance, and training & enablement for the Customer Success, Customer Support, Implementation, and User Growth teams (approximately one third of the company).

Professional EXPERIENCE

  • Project Management: Led long-term, cross functional projects to automate the analysis of a company's health plans to determine what products were eligible to be sold to them and identify, document, and upload certain customer contract information into Salesforce at Castlight Health.   
  • Process Mapping and Evaluation: Mapped the flow of Customer Data through the disparate systems at Castlight Health to identify and create solutions for gaps and blockers that were creating major issues in data reporting. 
  • System Optimization: Performed review and optimization of Gainsight & Clarizen and implemented large scale improvements like CPQ and a homegrown contract management system within Salesforce at Castlight Health. Reviewed & optimized Salesforce at OODA health and created budget vs. actual reporting in Netsuite at Cedar Health.
  • Data Transformation: Led multiple months long, high-visibility data transition projects to include contract, performance guarantee, product, and pricing information in Salesforce with a reportable, scalable infrastructure.
  • Reporting Transformation: Project managed the creation and ongoing management of Salesforce reports & dashboards for Sales, Customer Success, & Finance at Castlight and OODA health.
  • Financial Modeling/Analysis: Built models to help Sales and Customer Success understand and price new business deals and renewals and to easily communicate deal by deal profitability to CFO and SVPs of Sales and Customer Success. Managed the company forecast model at OODA Health.
  • Operations Strategy: Reviewed and provided recommendations on the operational org structure at Cedar Health with a strategy of increasing the company's return on General & Administrative spend.
  • Change Management: Created and delivered trainings for major process/system changes at Castlight Health & OODA Health. 
  • Contract Negotiation: Managed a team of 4 that closed 300+ contracts worth $80M+ per year and was personally involved in the negotiation of the largest contracts ($10M+) at Castlight Health.
  • Team Management: Managed teams of up to 14 people during special consulting projects and general team management.
