Mobile Developer

Regions Financial Corporation

Developer on the Mobile Applications team.  The mobile banking app goes beyond the normal services offered to customers across Regions digital channels.  While exposing the usual banking functions via a robust WCF services layer, the banking app offers many financial transactions unique to the mobile experience.  For example, remote deposit capture, peer to peer payments go beyond the classic functions offered at a branch.  The developers work with Kony Studio One and Microsoft Visual Studio to respond to requirements at all layers of application development.  We work with the UX designers, mainframe developers, and testing teams in the delivery of each release.

Software Engineer

Phifer Incorporated

Lead developer for the Manufacturing Execution Systems team.  The MES team created windows and browser based applications used by production employees on the manufacturing floor.  The applications provide an integration layer between Wonderware InTouch automation software and SAP.  In addition to application development, the MES team supports 24/7 floor operations.

Kony Studio One

Kony Studio is a proprietary environment for creating multi-channel mobile applications.  I use it at Regions Financial for all client side development for their mobile banking app.  Kony uses javascript for application logic.  That functionality generates native code for both iOS and Android environments.  Testing requires using Xcode and Android Studio.

I have been using C# since version 1.1 of the .NET framework.  I use it for WCF services, Windows XAML, and ASP.NET MVC web applications.

SQL Server

The bulk of my database work has been with SQL Server.  I have comprehensive understanding of queries, stored procedures, and triggers.  I have also provided the database administration in a production environment.

I like using Node.js as an alternative to server side technologies from Microsoft.  Using IBM's MQ Series module, I created an alternative middleware solution for reliably sending and receiving data requests to the Regions host.

Using RabbitMQ and web sockets, I created a Node.js solution for a real time monitoring application over Modbus TCP/IP.  The implementation integrates MongoDB as a repository (historian).

Experience delivering native apps using Android Studio and Java.  I like using the cloud technology from Parse.
