As an Educational Technology Specialist for Avoca School District, Vail Mountain School, and now, the co-Director of Learning & Innovation for Aspen School District, I have spent my 16-year career supporting educators in grades K-12 with innovative teaching. As a curriculum developer and teacher of technology, STEAM, multimedia, and design thinking courses, I also help develop confidence and leadership abilities in students while creating pathways to future careers and interests. I have facilitated the creation of school makerspaces, innovative learning spaces, sponsored innovation festivals, and conferences, and traveled both domestically and abroad with students to help them develop new outlooks and cultural perspectives.
