Development of "Tact-Guard" monitoring system.
Tact-Guard is a low-cost MES replacement with all of the key functions such as live reporting, personal management, cycle-time guard, Changeover management, Maintenance evidence & Operation Analysis, Hourly/Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports, escalation rules and procedures, Visual status screens and slideshows, live remote access to shopfloor data and much more.
Tact-Guard system is based on Siemens PLCs logic with specific algorithm developed for immediate non-productivity visualization and traceablity.
It is "Plug & Play" based - just plug the remote signal detector to some contacts in the line and enjoy predefined reports immediately.
Developed based on my personal experience - I took the most useful " tools and lessons learned" in terms of production stabilization needs and transferred into digital logic.
The shopfloor data collection has never been easier. The system uses web-portal user interface for interaction. That means, based on defined deviation limits system is putting requests to different departments for explanations and additional information.
The system is monitoring every second of the day and is assigning different statuses to each cycle.
As a key output Tact-Guard is able to create a live line "EKG" to see the rhythm of the line with "every cycle" detail. If sensors are even temporary connecter into production process flow, Tact-Guard offers an simple option for "live" speed balance monitoring.
