General Office Management 

  • Maintenance of General/ Professional Liability, Auto, Workers Compensation Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for subcontractors and Microgrid.
  • Maintain business licenses

Human Resources

  • Onboard all new hires (parking, name tags, phones, business cards, company swag, familiarize all new hires with company's triple bottom line approach,  spending/vacation/travel policies, managing handbook acknowledgements, personnel resumes, training for available job certifications, maintenance of all personnel files)
  • Arrange trainings for all new hires (OSHA, Harassment (Skillsoft), etc)
  • Handle all job postings 

Information Technology

  • New Hire Setup (set up laptops/desktops (MAC and PC) with necessary applications and programs: Dropbox (with appropriate folder sharing), email setup (including signature setup), MS Office, and Zoho CRM database
  • Printer/Scanner set ups and upkeep
  • Train staff on how to navigate and use programs for every day use

Event Planning

  • Happy Hours, Calendar Event, Annual Winter Retreat, Annual Microgrid Client Celebration, Lunch and Learns, office moving arrangements. 
  • Arrange all food orders, drink orders, venues, AV equipment, invites, company swag, decor, and any miscellaneous details for Internal and External events


  • Quickbooks- Assist with daily upkeep of books including entering bills/processing payments, manually entering transactions and reconciliations of credit and checking accounts, invoicing, work with CPA on Sales Tax and end of year reports, running reports & balance statements monthly 
  • Calls and emails related to AP/AR
  • Enter and print checks
  • Help track commissions & coordinate payroll processing
  • Help manage cash-flow and budgeting 
  • Perform expense reimbursements through Expensify


  • Face person - When possible represent company at events, including group meetings, networking events, exhibit booth events booth, etc. Handle setup and takedown of booth, and schedule staff to work the booth.
  • Print materials - Coordinate printing projects of business cards, name tags, signage for office and booth/marketing materials.
  • Logo apparel – placing orders and coordinated with print company
