Handle sick dogs, obtain samples, such as blood and fecal samples. Obtain, set up, and read ear cytologies. Set up and run samples on IDEXX machines. Perform daily duties such as anal gland expressions, nail trim/dremel, give subcutaneous fluids, obtaining blood from the saphenous and jugular veins, draw up and give vaccines when asked including DHLPP, BORDETELLA, INFLUENZA, PROHEART. Fill prescriptions, administer oral and skin medications as needed. Educate pet owners about given vaccines, heartworm prevention, and other medication prescribed. Perform X-rays in a safe, yet timely manner. Currently doing online anesthesia training in preparation to become a surgery technician.

Cleaned and sanitized kennels, walked, fed and watered dogs of all sizes, ages, and behaviors. Cleaned up and disposed of fecal matter in a sanitary manner. Reliable team worker who trained new employees and helped fosters. Did chores around the kennel such as sanitizing dishes, sweeping, and mopping. Deep cleaned runs as dogs leave the kennel.
