Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as
micrometers or vernier calipers. Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools.

Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to
perform precision machining operations. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.

Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers.

Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition. Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine quality or sequences of operations needed to modify products.

Check machines to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled.

Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools.

Operate Rocklinizer to insure reduced wear and optimal gripping. Separate scrap waste and related materials for reuse, recycling, or
disposal.

Evaluate machining procedures and recommend changes or
modifications for improved efficiency.

Diagnose and Dismantle machines and equipment, using hand tools or power tools to examine tools for defects,  replace defective parts

Diagnose machine tool malfunctions to determine need for adjustments or repairs.

Set up or operate Sizers, facers, Punch press, Swedger, clippers, Benders and automatic Sizer facer robot.

Load workpieces, oil, coolant and grease solutions into machines.

Position guides, stops, holding blocks, or other fixtures to secure and  workpieces, using hand tools and measuring devices.

Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components, such as pilots or rams and punches.

Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or
malfunctions.

Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems.

Clean and maintain measuring instruments.

Test products with dial indicators, fixed gauges, height gauges and ring gauges to insure quality standards are met.
