Key Responsibilities

HealthCheck/Support L2/L3:

• Run & support L2/L3: daily health check of HCI assets, alert processing (e-mails, reports,
  Service NOW), technical fixes and incident/change/RITM ticket management
• Patching: planning and execution of patch/upgrade campaigns for the infra fleet
  (ESXi, vCenter, vROps, vRLI).
• Post-incident audit: root cause analysis, technical recommendations and improvement
  Manufacturer/Publisher Coordination: Planning and Monitoring of Repairs for
• Hardware Failures on HCI Platforms (V2, 2.5, V3).

Build:

• Participation in sizing and design workshops, deployment of new VCF Workload Domains (Mgmt & VI), creation of new vSphere/vSAN clusters.
• Migration: participation in migrating vSAN 8 environments to VCF 5.2, then build QUALIF VCF 5.2 and upgrade to VCF 9.1.

RUN:

• Administration and operational maintenance of the IT infrastructure and the 7 remote sites (servers, firewalls, hypervisors, switches, VPN, DNS).
• Level 2/3 user support, incident resolution on the IT platform, and post-migration functionality testing.

Build:

• Data center Project (Build): design and sizing of the infrastructure (compute, storage, network, security, power), market research and solution selection.
• HQ data center migration: planning and execution of the migration from the old headquarters data center to the new HQ (48-hour downtime), in coordination with vendors and ISPs.
• Deployment of the virtual infrastructure (hypervisors, SAN, LAN WLAN, security, Active Directory, O365)

RUN:

• Administration of hypervisors, vCenter, SAN and Office 365 messaging, including deployment of test and production VMs.
• Monitoring and optimization of backup jobs for virtualized environments and O365 messaging.
• Study and integration of an HCI Stretched vSAN platform

• Deployment of an Environmental Information System interconnected with several ministries via micro-services on a VMware vSphere virtual platform.
• Contribution to the deployment of 39 LAN networks for regional offices (site surveys, requirements definition, monitoring and testing).
• Upgrade of the professional messaging system (Exchange 2010, DAG), hardening security rules and drafting specifications for a water sector data center.
