Planned, directed, and coordinated the Exchange and Email compliance services, an engineering team (18 staff members) responsible for activities to deliver new solutions, meet operational goals, identify emerging technologies, and drive end-to-end development and delivery of best practices. Maintained risk, regulatory compliance, and audit standards for 20k plus internal users and external customers.
- Served as Technical Engineering Manager for the Exchange on-Prem email services migration to Microsoft’s 365 Cloud. Cleared roadblocks with security, authorization, and risk challenges.
- Accelerated the migration of email retention service from EMC SourceOne to Proofpoint cloud services working with engineering teams to look outside the box and engage and challenge our vendor partnerships.
- Identified and expedited the formulation of ownership within the team for the desktop outlook client and add-ons listening to and understanding the customer needs.
- Facilitated the Performance Management cycles; drove the team to have hard conversations and obtain the natural differentiation for each group by performance and potential.
- Consolidated risk controls from 35 to 15 enhancing the risk posture for email services; reduced quarterly administration and improved the risk posture by lowering and in a few cases eliminating risks.
- Established partnerships in the key development areas to share knowledge and help align older technology interfaces to move to or implement cloud-first connections enhancing security and resiliency.
