GreyNoise Intelligence
  • Developed the product discovery process at GreyNoise intelligence, leading to multiple critical customer discoveries including:

    • Only 25% of our customers were using GreyNoise for the targeted value proposition
    • Multiple new customer problems identified, strengthening the threat intelligence use case
  • Built, in conjunction with marketing, the growth function at GreyNoise.  This included implementing Pendo for analytics, designing the experiment framework, began conducting experiments.
    • Implemented changes to the trends feature navigation, increasing utilization significantly(6th to 3rd most visited page)
    • Delivered multiple in-app user guides to increase understanding of the platform
  • Delivered new features to market, widening both the free and paid use cases
    • Increased differentiation between free and paid products by delivering major new functionality in the vulnerability intelligence space with a clear upgrade path from free to paid.

  • Launched Censys' Attack Surface Management Platform in February of 2020 at RSA after conducting 81 customer interviews to understand the customer problems driving the need for a new product category.
  • Continued product and development evolution of the ASM platform to allow Censys to acquire its first 20 paying customers for this product.
  • Led a staff of 4 product managers and UX designers in pursuit of product market fit during COVID.  The company successfully completed a Series A round of funding on the strength of the Attack Surface Management platform.  
  • Developed a deep understanding of the core customer problem and then built and evangelized a persona to support this.  This persona centered the customer problem in the minds of sales, engineering, and leadership to drive the company and its overall strategy.

  • Launched a new on-premises version of Tenable's Flagship product Tenable.io by packaging cloud native architectures (containerized micro-services) into an on-premises compatible virtual appliance, satisfying a key customer requirement for government and financial customers
  • Directed and executed overall product strategy, which included guiding priorities, defining plans, understanding multiple stakeholders, and negotiating competing requirements.
  • Owned the product backlog with concise user stories and feature definitions  
  • Managed endpoint and SaaS product development in an Agile environment, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure successful product and feature releases
  • Partnered with support and pre-sales to identify product stability gaps
  • Captured customer needs, product scenarios, and user stories, through customer and stakeholder interviews across global customer segments including Fortune 100 customers in finance, manufacturing, technology, and retail
