eHealth Ontario required a project manager to lead the overall strategy, design, and planning and implementation efforts to migrate and decommission all virtual servers in the Data Centre.


  • Provided leadership to a team of software engineers, architects, programmers, analysts, QA experts, and testers in a matrix environment for the data centre decommissioning. The consolidation included application builds on new VMWare environments with SQL, Oracle, Middleware, Wintel, and Networking resources, as well as Product Owners (application and hardware). Provided weekly status and progress updates to eHealth project sponsors. 
  • Managed a team of analysts during monthly critical server patches as interim Patch Manager for the TOC team, which includes attending CAB & TRB meetings and monitoring implementations (Change Requests) after hours (24/7). This included Go/No-go decision points for every patch. All patches were tested in Pre-Prod and transitioned to Production.
  • Spearheaded the decommission of virtual machines, resulting in a 40% decrease in revenue paid to the Hewlett Packard managed data centre. Successfully met the timelines to consolidate and decommission virtual machines.

Project Consultant


IBM Canada required a project manager to work onsite at Rogers Communications as the objective was to transition all legacy hardware, applications, back-end software (retail stores) and processes to the new IBM environment to meet program objectives.


  • Led teams (off shore & local) delivering software and hardware projects. This included managing relationships between business units and IT to validate the objectives, and jointly write the solution with Rogers Communications. Managed the project scope, schedule and costs between stakeholder groups and product owners (Rogers businesses) within the project team. Application builds were built in DR, as well as in production. 
  • Planed, prepared and maintained project schedules.
  • Identified the critical path and determined milestones, control points, and Go/No-go decision points into the schedule.
  • Successfully managed concurrent projects using following Change Management protocols with project budgets exceeding $1M, and with > 20 project team members in a technical / business environment. Budgets varied on projects from $50,000 to $1M.

Senior IT Specialist


Radiometer America required a senior IT Specialist to deploy / implement the RADIANCE software systematically to all identified hospitals in North America.


  • Implemented and provided training of RADIANCE software for various acute care (blood gas results in the ICU, PICU, Neonatal, and Emergency Units) accounts across North America. This required travel (>50%) to locations for installations, training and support (24/7). Validated communication via HL7 to RADIANCE server, and analyzed HL7 logs to validate right tables on patient information. Communicated with clients to ensure that project charters and plans were on schedule.
  • Successfully implemented RADIANCE to over 25 locations across North America (including the largest implementation at University of Alberta

  • CIBC ~ Accountable for the enterprise wide Data Transformation of all CIBC retail locations across Canada – Deployment of 24,000 desktops / 1,400 servers / 1,400 CISCO devices / 1,600 MFP's with 25,000 + users on time / under budget.
  • Scotiabank ~ Accountable for the deployment of new desktops (1500), and a Data Transformation from a Novell / Zenworks environment to Windows Server 2003.
  • Soroc ~ Accountable for the hardware refresh deployment for 1100 CIBC locations across Canada.
  • Ministry of Transportation OS2 to Wintel desktop upgrade.
  • Buchanan Associates ~ Fallsview Casino deployment consisted of a net new environment consisting of Windows Server 2003, Office 2003, SharePoint Server, Exchange, Project Server 2003, Windows 2000 client on Dell desktops (600), Dell laptops (125).
  • Getronics for Shell Canada ~ New POS to all retail locations across Canada.
  • IBM for Rogers ~ Windows 7 / Office 2010 Deployment to laptops (1,250) and desktops (6,000) at Bloor St & Brampton offices.
