After the Senior Pastor resigned I served as the Immediate Interim Pastor at Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church. As the primary preacher, I preached three times a month. I led our five person staff meeting. I moderated the session in transition. I led crisis management as we navigated very difficult conflicts and ministry situations upon resignation. I engaged in reconciliation meetings with elders. I shepherded the church through turmoil times helping them trust the Lord for our future in a time of uncertainty. As moderator I assisted the session with establishing practices and policies to assist in rebuilding trust with the session and nominating trusted leaders for the church. 

At Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church I sought to revitalize the church through restructuring key ministries, innovating new outreach initiatives, and equipping/supporting leaders to serve in small groups and Sunday school. I developed a restructured small group model that integrates gathering, growing and going on mission called Community Groups (See Launch Curriculum above). I designed a new Pickleball outreach ministry to connect the community across the courts. This ministry has drawn many new people on our church campus, among our church community and in our church service with 160 people joining our Pickleball group. I equipped new officers in our Officer's Training with a focus on with a focus on developing them in theological knowledge, character, and leadership competencies as Elders and Deacons. I developed a three week Sunday school Equipping on evangelism through a process of Gospel connection, leading to Gospel conversations, and Gospel explorations. 

While serving Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church I have had the privilege to equip, direct and deploy Adult Sunday School teachers, teaching across eight classes. I began a weekly prayer meeting and created a morning, midday and evening prayer resource. I created a leadership development pathway for officers elect with a year long leadership mentorship ministry of elders mentoring elders and deacons mentoring deacons. I oversaw the 20 Somethings ministry and equipped 20 somethings leaders in the work of ministry. I led and equipped leaders in how to integrate faith with work through a year long Vocational Discipleship Bible Study. I established a ministry to help train men in recovery from sexual addiction using the Samson Society model. I regularly participated and taught through our No Walls ministry which unites churches across ethnicity and denomination to serve the city. I created documents to help new people to engage with our classical worship liturgy called the Gospel Flow of the  Liturgy. I developed the technical aspects of our new Live Stream along with establishing a live stream ministry team. 

For this internship I assisted the lead Pastor Tim Jackson with preaching, worship leading, pastoral care and greeting for the church service. The Fountains is a senior retirement community/assisted living. 

For this internship I served at the food pantry by leading Bible studies and helping direct people to the food pantry, I co-led a Bible study for urban leaders, I developed an eight week Sunday School on Discipleship Essentials, and Discipled a couple for a year. 

Glorify God by Building Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World.  To do this I provided oversight for our whole campus ministry, led a five person staff team, led bi-annual campus planning retreats, weekly staff meetings, Monthly student leader trainings, and coordinated and led a mission trip to South Africa for a month.  I also discipled men in discipleship groups, established a personal ministry on the campus where I led Bible studies and pursued evangelistic ministry, taught regularly in our weekly meetings, and trained student leaders at Summer Beach Project.
